Japan has custom which we eat giant sushi roll facing toward a set direction on the day of the official end of winter according to the traditional Japanese calendar called”Setsubun”. The direction is settled depends on a year, and in 2014 is the east-northeast. The sushi roll is not cut, as the meaning of not being cut one’s connection. If peoplecan finish eating the roll silently with wishing their rush of business, being in good health at their hearts, it is believed that their wish will be true. I realized Japan has really lots of customs in a year.
