On the weekend, I went shopping with my family. I didn’t have anything I want, but I just wanted to go somewhere to enjoy my weekend. And when I went to a clothing store, I found a really pretty purplish magenta color short sleeve t-shirt. So I decided to get that. But after that, I also found a pretty pinkish magenta color t-shirt, and I wan
ted both of them. But my mom told me that I didn’t need to have both because those are similar. So I had to decide which one I get. The first one was more expensive than the second one even though it’s good for summer, so I decided to have the second one I found because it was on sale and cheaper. When you are in this kind of situation, what do you do? Do you get both? Or do you choose which one you get?
Today, after 3rd period, I attended to a guidance to job hunting.Since before, I was really worried about my future job and whenever I attended to a guidance to job hunting, I felt blue. I think almost everyone in the Hitomi Auditorium felt as same as mine.
During the guidance, there were happy news and sad news. The good news was, the female employment rate increased compare to last year and teacher told us that Showa Women University has a highest employment rate within other women’s university. That was amazing!
The bad news was, the period of the company information session will start later than last year and it means, we have limitations how many company information sessions we can go. So, we have to think carefully and attend to the sessions.
I found an interesting article and it says, in Ishikawa-Ken, the female employment rate has increased and recently it has the highest female employment in Japan. In this prefecture, they support women for re-employment. In addition, they have many extended day care creche(延長保育実施保育所) compare to other prefectures. But still if we compare Japanese female employment rate to other countries, our country is still low.
- England 65.3%
- America 62.4%
- Japan 60.1%
- France 59.9% (2010, by OECD)
It is sad that even our female employment rate increased compare to before, still we are low rank compare to other coubtries. I hope that oneday not only in Japan but also among the world, our female employment rate will increase more so that women have happier life than now.
Also, teacher told us valuable information about how to use career support center wisely, how to study for SPI3 and how to find a job which is suitable for ourselves.
We will face many difficulties but in order to grab our dream jobs, we have to study hard and do not give up for our dreams!
Do you feel stress? Now, many people feel stress even if we don’t feel it directly. If you are tired about something, what is the good way to remove the stress? I have some suggestions to remove stress. It is not difficult, it’s really easy. The most important thing is to immerse in something. For example, reading a book is good because you can concentrate in it. You don’t need to think about other things when you read a book. In addition, doing some sports, singing songs, and dancing are also good way to forget bad things. On the other hand, walking and shopping are not good way. When we take a walk, we will try to think something. Sometime, it’s necessary for someone to solve problems but some people will think more badly and shopping is a temporary stress relief and you will regret after you spent lots of money. So, these are bad way. I want to recommend finding your way to remove your stress.
