Showa Women’s University walked away with 2 of the 3 top prizes at the 13th annual Hitomi Cup speech contest. Ms. Shirai from the Department of International Studies won the International Herald Tribune/Asahi Shinbun Cup, with a prize of a plaque and 10,000 yen in book certificates. Ms. Arai from our ELC department won the top prize, with a week-long trip to Boston.

Ms. Arai spoke about her experience in writing, producing, directing, and acting in a stage play based on Legally Blonde at our Showa Boston campus. You are welcome to watch .
