Visual Thesauraus is one of my favorite ways to look at words. The visual element helps me rembember relationships between words.

Now they have gone one better. Try out loading a page of your writing into the VocabGrabber, and see which words are more important, and which words relate to other words. Great tool.

The screen you are looking at is like the department school newspaper. But behind this page is a whole new system, set up for students and teachers to do homework and organize their class work. Guests are allowed into some classes to look. Each student has a log-in that is the same as their DynEd login.

In earlier days, a group of students might have made a school newspaper. Another group may have had projects or things to discuss about their school. This blog is the electronic version of this. We hope to post information for students about the department. This is to build a learning community. Students and teachers will become invovled with this project, and those opinions expressed here are theirs, and not of Showa Women’s University or English Language and Communication.
